Munich, June 2026 — Where the Energy Industry Meets
Intersolar Europe is not just another trade fair. It is the gravitational center of the global solar and energy storage industry — four days where manufacturers, integrators, operators, and test equipment suppliers converge under one roof at Messe München. This year, loadbanks.solutions was there.
At Booth B1.370D, we brought the hardware that keeps critical power infrastructure running — and walked away with a market signal too clear to ignore.
What We Brought to the Floor
Three product lines. One message: when power systems need validation, precision matters.
🌬️
Air & Liquid-Cooled Load Banks
5 kW to 1 MW — for data centers, generator commissioning, and BESS discharge testing
🔋
Battery Aging & Grading Equipment
For lithium battery production lines and second-life grading applications
⚡
Portable Battery Tester
Compact, high-precision handheld unit for rapid on-site diagnostics
Key Insight from the Floor
The product that generated the most conversations was not the highest-powered load bank — it was the compact battery tester. Several European PV inverter manufacturers, BESS integrators, and third-party testing labs explicitly expressed procurement interest. The message was consistent: the market is underserved for reliable, portable, cost-effective battery and inverter test instruments.
What the Conversations Told Us
Over four days, we spoke with more than 200 visitors — from utility-scale solar developers to independent testing houses. Three patterns emerged:
- Inverter testing is a gap. As PV + storage installations scale across Europe, the need for commissioning and maintenance test equipment for inverters — especially at the string level — is growing faster than the supply side can respond.
- Battery grading is going industrial. Second-life battery applications are moving from pilot projects to production scale. Buyers want turnkey aging and grading systems, not bench-top prototypes.
- Load banks remain the backbone. Every data center commissioning project, every generator factory test, every BESS FAT still starts with one question: "Do you have a load bank that fits our spec?" We answered yes — repeatedly.
What This Means for loadbanks.solutions
Intersolar 2026 validated a strategic pivot that had been forming for months: battery testing and inverter test instruments are not a side business — they are the next growth engine.
We entered the show with load banks as our flagship. We leave with a clear product roadmap:
- Expand the battery tester portfolio — multi-channel, higher voltage ranges, data-logging integration
- Develop dedicated inverter test instruments — targeting PV inverter FAT, commissioning, and field service
- Build European-local service and support — Weinbach is our base; the continent is our market
